Best Georgia Bulldog plays in NFL week one

Let’s take a peek at the best plays Georgia Bulldogs made in the NFL’s opening week. Week one still has a Monday Night Football doubleheader left to be played. It’s not been a great week so far for Bulldog running backs, but it is a long season.

The Detriot Lions blew a lead versus the Arizona Cardinals to end up tying the game. Lions QB Matthew Stafford played at an elite level going 27-45, passing for 385 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Matthew Stafford evaded some pressure to connect with Danny Amendola of a forty-seven yard touchdown pass:

The New York Jets blew a lead to fall to the Buffalo Bills. Former Georgia Bulldog Jordan Jenkins had a nice strip-sack in the first quarter:

Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley wasn’t thrilled with his workload, but came up big-time for the Rams in the second half. L.A. head coach Sean McVay has talked about reducing Gurley’s workload so he can be healthier for the postseason.

In Gurley’s homecoming to North Carolina, the Tarboro native did not find the end zone. The Carolina Panthers could not tackle Gurley late in the fourth quarter and throughout the second half:
