Best friends find out they're pregnant at same time and give birth to babies on SAME DAY

Two best friends had their world completely changed when they found out they were pregnant at the same time and gave birth on the same day - despite having different due dates.

Maisie Campbell-White, 27, and Morgan Hood, 29, met in January 2020 and hit it off right away when they realised they were both in the same industry.

Maisie - who was studying nursing at University of Suffolk, Ipswich, and working on placement with a community nursing team - was taken under the wing of Morgan, a qualified nurse.

Morgan then became Maisie's "mentor" and while showing her the ropes at the community the pair struck up a close bond and became inseparable ever since.

Since becoming close to one another, they say they always gossiped about their dreams of starting a family and were so overjoyed to discover they had fallen pregnant with their first child at the same time.

Maisie said: "It was amazing to find out we were both pregnant at the same time.

"Morgan is my best friend and we share everything with each other.

"It would be so cute if our children grew up together and became best friends - just like us."

The expectant mums also shared their joy when they had their 12-week scans on the same day and discovered that Maisie was expecting a little boy, while Morgan was having a little girl.

For support, the pair shared their pregnancy journey every step of the way, with Morgan saying: "I couldn't believe it when I found Maisie was pregnant too.

"Maisie told me first - she came up and said: "I've got something to tell you. I replied: 'I've got something to tell you too."

She added: "She was the first person I told out of all my family and friends.

"It was even better knowing we were going to go through it all together."

The best friends even had their scans on the same day and found out their due dates: Morgan was due on June 27 and Maisie was expecting her first child on July 2.

But as the due dates grew closer, doctors noticed Maisie's little boy had reduced movement.

She ended up being induced around 38 weeks at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, Norwich, and went into labour at 39 weeks in June 2021.

After spending week in hospital, Maisie and her boyfriend Max, 28, a dig-driver, welcomed her little boy Milo at 4am on June 28, 2021.

Maisie said: "Morgan was just on the other end of the phone.

"We were texting each other the whole time and it was lovely to have her support."

On the same day - June 28, 2021 - Morgan was into Suffolk, Hospital, Ipswich, and was also induced due to reduced movement.

She and with partner, Louis, 28, a labourer, welcomed her little girl, Ivy, just nine hours later at 12.32pm.

Her little one was delivered at Suffolk Hospital, Ipswich, and weighed 6lb 14oz.

Speaking of the experience, Morgan said: "Even though we were in different hospitals, we stayed in touch throughout.

"It was amazing to know our children shared the same birthday."

The best friends now meet up every week with their babies, and take their little ones to the park or playground.

They say they hope their tots will one day form a close bond as they do.

Morgan is now back at work as a community nurse and Maisie is due to start back up on her nursing course in September 2022, with Maisie saying: "I'm excited to get back into training.

"I'm hoping to work with Morgan again when I qualify.

"It's lovely knowing we can confide in each other, both during pregnancy and now as mums.

"Hopefully, our kids will be as close as we are."

Morgan added: "The support hasn't stopped - we'll be there for each throughout our babies' lives.

"It's just the best experience to go through with your best friend."
