Best family-friendly airlines in the world ranked for 2020

The world's top 10 best family-friendly airlines have been revealed for 2020, and parents may want to take note.

A host of the world's major airlines have been ranked across key factors including priority boarding, baggage allowances, onboard entertainment options, seat comfort, food, average delays and onboard WiFi, leading to an overall family-friendly score.

The research was conducted by Lastminute.com and compared 36 airlines to unveil which ones need to be on parents' radars when travelling with young kids.

Coming top of the list list was Etihad Airways which offered priority boarding, in-flight entertainment, child-friendly meals included in the air fare, and the option to bring a pushchair for free.

It was closely followed by Air Canada which also offered these features, although it was let down by what was seen as a lack of child-friendly meals.

Meanwhile, British Airways was the only UK airline to make the cut in the top 10, impressing with child-friendly meals (you do need to pay extra for this), in-flight entertainment, and the fact that you can a car seat or push chair for free.
