skate. has a lot of cool secrets, hidden places, and Easter eggs spread out across San Vansterdam. There are cool homages to old games, music references, and much, much more. There are many secrets and easter eggs that people still haven’t found. As the game matures, we are sure to see some more cool easter eggs pop up on the web.
Even now, you will see a lot of players finding hidden places and cheeky references in skate. And here are some of the coolest ones.
Gimme The Loot

All around San Vansterdam, you will find shops and a billboard with the title Gimme the Lute. This could be a reference to Biggie’s song Gimme the Loot or Travis Scott’s Sicko Mode. There is no confirmation if it’s truly a reference, but players are considering this as a cool easter egg.
Land Sharks

The new skate. has a lot of references to previous games. One of the best ones has got to be the Land Sharks stadium. It’s located in Brickswitch. For those unfamiliar, this is a direct reference to Skate 3. It’s quite similar in terms of design and aesthetics to the one in Skate 3. San Vansterdam has a lot of areas like this, which have been either inspired or completely copied from the previous games.
M Corp Car In Water
For those unfamiliar, M Corp was the major antagonist in Skate 2. In short, M-Corp is a fictional mega-corporation that acts as one of the main “villains” of the world. In the new game, EA has teased that M Corp is back and will be the major antagonist. As such, you will find a lot of hidden M Corp references.
If you travel to the location shown in the image, you will see tire marks leading to water. You will also find a briefcase with M Corp written on it. When you peek, you won’t see a car; however, if you go into free cam using replay mode and go into the water, you will see the car.
Monster Growl In Hedgemont
Is skate. also becoming a soulslike? Well, probably not, but if you travel to the location in the image and go under the bridge, you will see the entrance of an underground pipe. If you stay there for a while, you will hear a weird monster growl. You can’t go into the tunnel to check it out. Overall, it’s a weird and interesting Easter egg in skate.
Put On For Your City
If you have played Skate 3, you know the iconic soundtrack called “Put On” by Jeezy. The new skate. pays homage to the previous game by referencing this song as the name of a main mission in the game called “Put On For Your City”. It’s a cool reference to a legendary soundtrack.
Ricky Slicky Barbershop
In San Vansterdam, you will find a barbershop with the name Ricky Slicky. This could be a cheeky reference to the rapper Slick Rick. Again, there is no confirmation on this, so it could be just pure speculation. But, if it’s true, then it’s quite a sick reference to one of the greatest rappers of all time.
Animal Statues
All around San Vansterdam, you will find statues of dinosaurs, horses, lizards, and other animals. Apart from allowing you to perform tricks over them, some of these statues also make noises if you hit them at speed.
It Takes 2-4
There is a challenge in skate. by the name It Takes 2-4. It’s a quick reference to another EA game called It Takes Two, which, on its own, is a very fun co-op game. Nothing special, just a quick reference to EA’s other popular games.
Dead In Skate 3
If you were a mega skate. fan back in the day, you might have seen DIZE’s video called Skate 3 Iceberg Explained. He covers a lot of fun theories in that video and is a must-watch, but one of his major theories was that you are dead in Skate 3. The new game references this through a title, “Dead in Skate 3”. A lot of the titles in the new game are references and easter eggs, but this one stands out as it pays homage to a very fun video.
