As you practice social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, you can relive some of the greatest moments from Kansas City Chiefs players before they were in the NFL. Many of these old college football games are available online and can help you pass the time while sports are indefinitely delayed. Several current members of the Chiefs put up incredible performances throughout their college football careers. We’ve narrowed down a few of those performances that you can watch online.

Patrick Mahomes: Texas Tech vs. LSU – 2015
The Texas Bowl wasn’t Mahomes’ best performance from a statistical standpoint. And, spoiler alert, his team didn’t win the game. However, this was the moment that many realized Mahomes was a special talent. He threw for 370 yards and four touchdowns despite facing instant pressure on nearly every snap. It was basically the college football version of David and Goliath.

Tyrann Mathieu: LSU vs. Arkansas – 2011
This game featured two top-ranked opponents with No. 1 LSU facing No. 3 Arkansas. Mathieu was one of the stars of the game, recording eight total tackles, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and a 92-yard punt return for a touchdown. A lot of people forget that Mathieu was once a dangerous return specialist. This is the type of performance that Honey Badger’s legend is built on.
Morris Claiborne also played in this game recorded three tackles, an interception and a pass defended.

Sammy Watkins: Clemson vs. Ohio State – 2013
This Orange Bowl was a highly competitive contest between two of the best programs in college football. Watkins had some great performances in college football, but this was easily his most dominant and it came on the biggest stage. He was basically unguardable no matter what defender lined up across from him. During the game, Watkins recorded 16 receptions for 227 yards and two touchdowns.
Bashaud Breeland also played in this game for Clemson, recording four total tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble.

Frank Clark: Michigan vs. Penn State – 2013
Clark played two games against Penn State during his career at Michigan and they were two of his best. In 2013, he recorded three tackles, two tackles for loss, two sacks, a ball batted and two fumble recoveries. This truly felt like a preview of what Kansas City has seen out of Clark in the NFL.

Travis Kelce: Cincinnati vs. Duke – 2012
Kelce saved his best game for last in college. During the 2012 Belk Bowl, Kelce gave us a glimpse of what was to come with his professional career. He proved to be an athletic mismatch that comes up clutch during big moments, catching five passes 123 yards and a touchdown. This game was a thriller that you’ll want to watch through the end to see Kelce’s biggest play.

Chris Jones: Mississippi State vs. Mississippi – 2013
Who doesn’t love the Egg Bowl? It’s one of the most competitive rivalries in college football. Jones performed well in this game throughout his career at Mississippi State, but the 2013 game was the only one where his team got the win. Jones was still a relative unknown as a freshman and recorded five tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack and a ball batted.
