The cat is out of the bag: Amazon Prime Day is back this July, but with a twist.
The event, which previously spanned 48 hours, will run for 96 hours from July 8 - 11.
The sale is exclusively for Prime members, so if you’ve been mulling over a subscription, now is the time to sign up.
What do you get with Amazon Prime membership?
There’s a special offer on right now. Prime members can enjoy three months of Audible absolutely free until July 31. This includes one bestseller or new release each month and thousands of included audiobooks, podcasts and Originals.
Aside from free, fast delivery and a world of entertainment and services, you’ll be able to take advantage of the incredible prices in the sale. Millions of products are in the mix, including tech.
Better yet, you get access to deals during the APD sale which includes discounts across pretty much any category you can think of, from phones to clothes, fans to firesticks.
I bought my Acer Chromebook many years ago in a Prime Day sale, and it’s gotten me through the pandemic, stood in as a TV when I moved house, and helped me through working from home. Some six years later, it’s still going strong.
Chromebooks are less clunky than a traditional laptop since they run on web-based applications, using Google's Play Store to download apps straight onto the device. Laptops have more desktop apps compatibility. While I use mine to work a couple of days a week, I initially bought it for light streaming and browsing.
The low cost also appealed - Chromebooks are much cheaper than a Windows laptop. The downside? They need a Wi-Fi connection to work, so working offline is pretty much a no-go.
I connect mine to a separate monitor to supersize the screen space, but they’d make a great starter laptop option for teens and students.
If you’re considering investing in one, there’s no better time than Prime Day 2025 to make your move. I’ve rounded up the best offers available now below.
