Portugal holidays are finally back on the cards for Brits!
Non-essential travel can resume from England on May 17 - and the government has confirmed the first green list countries where you won’t need to quarantine when back in the UK including the likes of Portugal and Iceland.
Unsurprisingly demand is already surging - and prices are on the rise. However, if you’ve been waiting to plan a holiday abroad for summer, there are deals to be had both for May and the school summer holidays.
Although there are 12 countries and territories on the green list, only a handful have already said they will welcome back Brits, and without a need for quarantine.
Portugal reopens to Brits from May 14 (although you can’t travel until the UK’s restrictions are lifted). The country hasn’t confirmed its exact entry requirements but it will likely be that you need to be fully vaccinated or can show proof of a negative Covid PCR test result.
