A study based on over one million holidaymakers in the UK has found the top 20 rated campsites including three in Wales.
The study took into consideration location, value for money, quality of accommodation, activities and cleanliness, and gave each site a score out of 10.
One even managed a perfect score of 10/10.

Here are the Welsh campsites who were named in the top 20 by holiday-makers.
Fron Rafel, Carmarthenshire
Price: from £24 per night
Not far from the town of Newcastle Emlyn, Fron Rafel got the top spot for its spacious pitches, “great location”, “friendly owner” and its “well maintained clean facilities”.
A strong 92% of guests described the site as peaceful whilst 100% of guests said they would stay again and recommend the site to a friend.
Daisy Bank Touring Park, Powys
Price: from £22 per night
With an overall rating of 9.8/10, Daisy Bank Touring Park offers complimentary WiFi and luxury bathroom facilities.
Its “extremely friendly staff” provide a stay that is fully focused on relaxation where 99% of guests say they would stay again and 100% would recommend a visit to a friend.
Acorn Holiday Luxury Glamping Pods, Flintshire
Price: from £130 per night
The Acorn Holiday Luxury Glamping Pods near Holywell are the perfect spot for a secluded, coastal retreat - and it's only a 25-minute drive from the Roman city Chester.
Guests commented on its “relaxing environment” and its “beautiful scenery” and 99% would return.
On top of that, Flintshire topped the tables as the highest rated county for camping in the UK.
