MLB The Show 25 can resemble a baseball broadcast if you prefer it to. You can capture the classic shot behind the pitcher’s mound by using the default camera, which is the Broadcast setting. At the plate, you’ll have the view from behind the plate, but zoomed out a bit, which is essentially Zoom, Catcher, or perhaps even Retro, if you prefer that. Those angles aren’t accurate to baseball broadcasts, but are consistent with baseball video games throughout time.

I play a lot of online games in MLB The Show. Like, an embarrassing amount, really. The biggest tip I give to any player who wants to improve at Diamond Dynasty online is to use the same camera angle for both pitching and hitting. It makes a world of difference. You’ll quickly become better at recognizing pitches, timing, and strike zone discipline.
But don’t use just any camera angles. If you want to be good at MLB The Show 25 online, there are correct answers. Get as zoomed in on the strike zone for both pitching and hitting as you’re comfortable with. I use Strike Zone 2, and it works well for me. But if you want, you can get even more zoomed in on the strike zone than that. I have friends who swear by Strike Zone and Strike Zone High. If you’re going to get better at hitting in MLB The Show, trust me. This is the way.
