Best Boxing Day Gaming Sales 2022: deals and price cuts available right now

The Boxing Day sales are finally here and we're seeing record-low prices on a range of gaming tech this sales period.

Some of the biggest tech and gaming deals come around during Black Friday and Boxing Day sales, so if you missed out last month – it's the perfect time to grab some goodies. In preparation for the New Year, we usually see retailers cut prices on all sorts of products as they clear out seasonal stock. Games and tech aren't left out, and so from November onwards, you can generally make significant savings on big purchases like gaming laptops and TVs, as well gaming accessories and consoles.

During Black Friday sales last month we saw a pretty significant price cut on the Xbox Series S, where it hit its lowest-ever price of £189.99. We then saw this deal extended, with it lasting until Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, it is no longer live.

The Nintendo Switch OLED also hit an all-time low of £269.99 this Black Friday and although we didn't see these deals extended like that of the Xbox Series S, Nintendo introduced some great bundle deals at its store which will be available until the end of the month. You can currently pick up an OLED console and get either Mario Kart Live or The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for free.

We've rounded up all of the best Boxing Day gaming deals available right now so you can pick up whatever hardware you may need at a discount. We're seeing price cuts at a range of retailers, so to save you from swapping from site to site trying to find the lowest price, we're highlighting all of the best deals all in one place. We're also live-blogging the event, so swing by if you're looking to add 'becoming a savvy shopper' to your list of New Year's resolutions.

Best Boxing Day gaming deals

Boxing Day deals are a great opportunity to fill in the gaps of Christmas gifts you may have asked Santa for but not received. And if you still have money to burn after the festivities this weekend, you can pick up some amazing deals for yourself or people you still haven't picked up Christmas gifts for, no shame, I still haven't decided what to get my aunt.

Boxing Day gaming deals: what to expect

While we can expect discounted prices to start popping up next week, as with Black Friday, the sales are starting to kick in earlier every year. While we've listed our top picks for you above, it's worth keeping an eye on the retailers below, based on their 2021 Boxing Day gaming deals. And of course, we'll be back on Boxing Day itself to highlight the biggest savings on the best deals to save you as much as possible.

Amazon Boxing Day gaming deals: Amazon is always a good place to start for early Boxing Day deals as it offers some of the lowest prices year-on-year on a wide range of products. You can already find price cuts on games, accessories on consoles. And of course, if you have the added bonus of Amazon Prime then you could get your shopping haul delivered before Christmas.

AWD IT Boxing Day gaming deals: We're already seeing some price drops from AWD IT on gaming PCs, graphics cards and other peripherals. The retailer offered great price cuts last year, and over Black Friday this year, so we could be in for more bargains this Boxing Day.

Box Boxing Day gaming deals: You can pick up consoles, gaming PCs and peripherals all at a price cut already as part of the Box 'Xmas Deals' sale, with hundreds of pounds off of a new rig and the lowest ever price we have seen on the Xbox Series S.

Currys Boxing Day gaming deals: We did just see the end of a massive 30% off sale on a wide range of gaming accessories at Currys, including headsets, keyboards, mice and controllers. Although this has ended you are still able to find smaller price cuts on peripherals at the moment. You can also take advantage of free next-day delivery on all gaming purchases over £20 using the code 'FNDDGAMING'.

Very Boxing Day gaming deals: There are already early deals on gaming laptops, SSDs, consoles, and games thanks to the Very Big Sale that the retailer is running right now. Boxing Day at Very last year was full of some great price cuts and it didn't let us down during Black Friday either, so be sure to keep an eye on Very.

We'll be adding more of the best Boxing Day gaming deals to this page as we get closer to next week, and more deals start popping up. And we'll be liveblogging the event on Monday, December 26, to spotlight all of the best gaming deals so if you got a ton of gift cards over Christmas, or saved some spending money to splurge on yourself, be sure to drop by.
