Best areas to hide in Meccha Chameleon

Hide-and-seek adventure Meccha Chameleon has gone viral. Funnily enough, the game gives you utmost freedom when you want to figure out a hiding spot. However, some spots are harder to catch, and this guide will help you discover the best possible areas.

Best spots to hide in Mecccha Chameleon

There are different locations available in the game, and you can pick the one you like. Hiding in the game essentially requires you to paint and camouflage yourself. The better you paint yourself, the easier it gets to hide. That said, picking the right spot will also make it harder for the spotter to find you.

Here are some of the best hiding spots in my books, spread across all the available maps.

Hide-and-Seek Mansion

This area has plenty of great spots for hiding, and here are some of my favorites.

  • The Library: Crouching to hide among the books makes it hard for someone to detect you.
  • Bathroom: You can hide among the bathroom tiles.
  • The ceiling: Yes, you can do that! Just attach yourself to the ceiling by lying down on one of the pillars.
  • The Kitchen: Not my favorite, but the empty shelves are good hiding spots.

Sewer

This is my least favorite map since I don’t like the hiding spots in general. However, there are a few good locations you can use to hide.

  • Red Barrels: Once you find the Red Barrels, you can either hide behind or on top of it.
  • Graffiti: This is my favorite spot as it’s very difficult for someone to detect you beneath the paint.

Indoor Country

This is my second favorite map, and there are some great areas to hide yourself.

  • Crates: You’ll see some green crates on the map, and you can hide behind them.
  • Hay: If you manage to reach the barn, there’s a nice hiding spot behind the hay.
  • Ceiling: The ceiling is another good spot, as you can just use the wall or the cutout.

Backrooms

This is also a decent map with some great hiding spots.

  • The chair: While it might seem too open, the chair is a great spot to hide.
  • Exit sign: There’s a bit of space behind the Exit sign, and you can hide over there.
