DESIGN : It’s cheery, it’s bright… if you like Disney, and you don’t mind making a statement, you’ll love these. George also has a great range of matching Christmas socks.
COMFORT : So soft you’d be forgiven for stroking them! They fit nicely, too.
Gap Family Matching Red Plaid Adult Flannel PJ Set - 3/5
COST: Adults, £49.95. Kids, £24.95.
DESIGN: I’ve always been a sucker for tartan and this set can be worn all winter. The sizes were huge though, and the kids’ PJs didn’t have adjustable waistbands so the trousers were just hanging off. For the price, I expected a lot more.
COMFORT: Great, but just too baggy!
John Lewis & Partners Polar Bear Pyjama Set - 4.5/5
COST: Women, £28. Kids, from £14.
DESIGN: Sweet but sophisticated, in keeping with the brand. The bold blue non-baggy trousers are really flattering. The only downside is they don’t have a set for men.
COMFORT : They’re 100% cotton and super-soft.
M&Co Unisex Christmas Pyjama Set - 4/5
COST : Adults, £26.99. Kids, from £16.99
DESIGN : Gorgeous. These really put the merry into Christmas.
COMFORT : Thick and super-snug, like a onesie. Perfect for a Christmas movie on the sofa.
M&S Collection Santa Paws Pyjama Set - 4/5
COST : Adults, £19.50. Kids, £11.
DESIGN : It’s tapered at the ankle, which is really flattering. The festive pets design is really cute too.
COMFORT : You could go to the shops in them.
Matalan Check Penguin Family Christmas Pyjama Set - 4/5
COST : Adults, £14. Kids, £10.
DESIGN : Cute and not as garish as some of the others, but I prefer a tapered trouser. There’s a fab unisex Paw Patrol set coming soon for kids.
COMFORT : Really breathable in bed because they’re almost 100% cotton. Absolutely fantastic value for money.
Tesco F&F The Grinch Pyjama Set- 5/5
COST : Adults, from £22. Kids, from £7.
DESIGN : We were sold at The Grinch – a favourite in our household.
It’s also great they do sets in pink as well as black.
Tesco are literally rocking it this season with every theme covered, from Mickey Mouse to Peppa Pig. There’s also an adorable penguin romper suit for babies.
COMFORT : About as snuggly as it gets, and flattering.
