What is Amazon Prime Day?

It’s a spectacular, all guns blazing, no-holds barred discount and deals bonanza for those who are subscribed to Amazon’s Prime membership.

Over two days you’ll score low prices on must-have goods, with everything from beauty and baby to tech and trampolines at heavily discounted prices. If you’ve been waiting for the price to drop on something, now’s your chance to make your move.

What kind of deals to expect?

The nature of Amazon as a vast virtual warehouse means you can get your bargain-hungry paws on just about anything, from a flashy juicer and new widescreen OLED to a gleaming fridge freezer to replace the clapped out one in the kitchen.

Look for Deals of the Day and Lightning Deals, which both run for limited times before either selling out or returning to its RRP. Moral of the story? Don’t wait: if you see a bargain price, move fast.

Before you go, a bit of housekeeping. As we mentioned earlier, only Prime members are eligible for the special sale prices on Amazon Prime Day. So, if you haven’t signed up yet, you’ll need to on or before July 11.
