Animal welfare experts are appealing for a new home for Beryl a 10-year-old Labrador currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder.
They say Beryl is a lovely older lady who is looking for a quiet home where she can be showered with love and attention.
A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “Beryl likes her cosy bed or being sprawled out on a duvet enjoying a tasty chew or cuddling her teddy. She can live with children aged 10 and over.
“Beryl would benefit from a home with few stairs and easy access to the garden, where she loves to spend time moseying around or finding herself a spot to lay and enjoy her surroundings. Beryl can find it difficult going for longer walks and much prefers to go for short potters.”
