Bertrand Traore eyed, Kostas Tsimikas claim and other Everton transfer rumours rated

With Everton's pre-season set to begin in a matter of days, Carlo Ancelotti will be keen to make his moves in the transfer market in time to get them ready for a new Premier League season.

The Blues need reinforcements in a number of areas and are not short of players being linked with a move for the club.

Here are the latest Everton transfer rumours and how they rate:

Bertrand Traore

Who?

Lyon winger who used to be on the books at Chelsea.

Where?

Sky Sports transfer expert Kaveh Solhekol, cited by The Boot Room, has suggested the forward is being eyed by a number of Premier League sides including Everton.

Newcastle, Leicester and Crystal Palace are all claimed to be looking at Traore - with Lyon thought to be open to selling once their Champions League campaign has been completed.

What?

Ancelotti seems to be in the market for a right-sided winger or attacking midfielder and the options appear to be extensive.

He could be a solid alternative if a deal for Leon Bailey can't be completed.

Kostas Tsimikas

Who?

Olympiacos left-back. You may suddenly be familiar with his name now as Liverpool reportedly agreed a fee to sign him this summer.

Where?

The Daily Mail have said the Blues along with Chelsea and Leicester were all claimed to also be interested in the 24-year-old.

What?

It wouldn't be a surprise if he appeared on both club's shortlist considering each sides' need for backup leftbacks. Ancelotti is unlikely to be worried if he misses out and no doubt has other options lined up.

Jhon Cordoba

Who?

Striker at FC Koln

Where?

Regional outlet Express.de cited Colombian reports about Everton being interested in signing the forward. He has apparently rejected Köln's first contract extension offer with Wolves and Sheffield United also interested in the player.

Kicker claim that the 27-year-old would cost 'well over €10 million'.

What?

Ancelotti has stated he wlll give more gametime to Moise Kean next season so bringing in a new striker could make for an interesting situation. At 27, he could expect to start for his new side but it's unlikely he would be able to displace Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Could these rumours be a ploy to negotiate a better contract with his current club?
