Bernie Sanders Presidential Inauguration outfit became a hilarious meme

Joe Biden became the 46th president of the United States on Wednesday morning. It was a solemn ceremony marking the peaceful transition of power that is the hallmark of our democracy. For the occasion, the country’s political leaders came dressed in their winter finest. They wore blazing, colorful coats, brushed up their appearances to impeccable levels and decided to shine for the historical occasion that happens every four years.

The first female Black and South Asian Vice President stunned in a long purple coat. The new First Lady Jill Biden wore a teal, sparkly number with matching gloves and mask. The men all went with traditional but formal black wool coats. Lady Gaga wore a ball gown! Jennifer Lopez came draped in all white.

There was beauty, there was pomp, there was pageantry!

And then, there was Bernie Sanders, the junior Senator from Vermont, who came dressed in a coat that certainly valued functionality over form. Sitting in the Capitol gallery dressed in the same coat he wore to the last inauguration, Sanders delightfully slouched posture, colorful mittens and obvious frown instantly became the best inauguration meme.
