Bernd Leno makes huge claim about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future at Arsenal

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno believes Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will remain at the club.

Aubameyang has been linked with an exit from the Emirates during the summer transfer window, with his contract at the club set to expire at the end of next season.

Barcelona and Manchester United are among the teams who have been linked with the 30-year-old.

And just today reports emerged from Spain stating that Barca are eyeing Aubameyang as their plan B this summer if they fail to land Lautaro Martinez.

The crucial signings Arsenal should make

Spanish publication Sport is reporting that the Inter Milan striker is the LaLiga side’s main transfer target, but if that bid fails, then they will go after Aubameyang instead.

But Leno, who like the rest of Arsenal’s players is currently training at home due to the coronavirus outbreak, believes his side’s skipper will remain at the Emirates.

“I’m not sure, it depends who’s going to leave and who stays. I don’t know,” he replied when asked on his eSports channel whether Arsenal will sign any players this summer

“I think it depends if Auba signs a new contract or [if] he leaves

“I don’t know what they are going to do. But if he leaves, of course, you need another player.

“But I think he’s going to stay.”
