Bernardo Silva reveals what outfield position Man City goalkeeper Ederson could play

Man City star Benardo Silva believes that goalkeeper Ederson is good enough to hang up the gloves and play outfield.

Ederson enjoyed a second remarkable season in a row last year as he kept 20 clean sheets and made the PFA Team of the Year as City marched to an historic treble triumph.

Despite all his goalkeeping heroics Bernardo reckons the Brazilian could play further up the field as well.

"I agree," the Portuguese told Sporf when asked if he thought Ederson could play outfield.

"He could play outfield maybe with the ball as a defensive or holding midfield player."

Bernardo also believes that last year's dramatic battle with Liverpool for the title, which City clinched by a single point, was the best ever Premier League title race, that Pep Guardiola is the best manager in the world and Sergio Aguero is the best striker in Premier League history.

I think well, I'm only 24-years-old I haven't watched all the Premier League season but from what I can remember maybe that season when Aguero scored that late goal.

"It was very emotional as well but from what I felt it was unbelievable, so yeah both teams were fantastic it was a great Premier League season," he explained.

"Yeah think it's the way he [Guardiola] organises a team, the way we know what we need to do whenever, in whichever situation on the pitch.

"Well as i said before I don't remember all the strikers I'm quite young but from what i remember yeah [Aguero is the best.]"
