Bernardo Silva picks out Liverpool game as his favourite Manchester City moment

Bernardo Silva has claimed that a match against Liverpool is his favourite moment at Manchester City.

The Reds have locked horns with City over recent seasons, having won the last four Premier League titles between them.

Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw in the most recent meeting between the two clubs at Anfield in October.

Silva impressed that day as Pep Guardiola's side twice came from behind after Sadio Mane and a superb goal from Mohamed Salah put the Reds in front.

But in a video posted on City’s Youtube channel , the Portugal international was asked for his favourite moment during his time at the Etihad Stadium, and picked out a win over Liverpool.

In the 2018/19 season, both the Reds and City were competing for the Premier League, with the race going down to the final day.

However, it was the Etihad outfit who won the title with 98 points, one ahead of Liverpool’s 97, which remains a record for a second-place finish.

And Silva picked out City’s 2-1 home win over Jurgen Klopp's side in January 2019 as his favourite moment during his time with the club.

“That (game against Liverpool) was one of the best memories I have for (Manchester) City,” said Silva.

Sergio Aguero opened the scoring for City in the match, before Roberto Firmino equalised with a goal in the second half.

However, Leroy Sane struck to settle a contest that saw an effort from Mohamed Salah cleared off the line by John Stones.
