Bernardo Silva names two Man City teammates he misses the most

Bernardo Silva picked the two Manchester City teammates he misses the most as the squad continue to train in isolation.

The players have been away from the training ground for more than a month as a result of the coronavirus pandemic with no definite plan in place as to when football will return or whether the 2019/20 season can be finished.

Bernardo and the rest of the squad have been given individual training programmes from the club to keep their fitness levels up and have been training together in virtual sessions as well as keeping in touch with each other socially; the Portugal international - often the subject of practical jokes during his time at the Etihad - was briefly kicked out of the team WhatsApp group by Kyle Walker earlier this month before getting his own back on the right-back with the help of John Stones.

All the players have had to adapt to life without seeing their teammates on a daily basis though, and Bernardo was asked which players he was missing the most during this period. The 25-year-old opted for two that he has been in teams other than City with, having come through at Monaco with Benjamin Mendy and played with Joao Cancelo on international duty.

"It's tough to choose but I'll go with Mendy," he said on an Instagram Live, "and maybe with Cancelo because he's always complaining about everything and I miss his voice. I miss all of them."
