  • Bernardo Silva has reached an agreement to join Real Madrid on a two-year contract, the Spanish club announced.
  • The 31-year-old Portugal international will become a Madrid player when his Manchester City contract formally expires at the end of June.
  • Silva had announced in April that he would be leaving the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.
  • He spent nine years at Manchester City after joining from Monaco in 2017 for £43m.
  • During his time at City, Silva was a key figure, winning 20 trophies, including six Premier League titles and one Champions League.
