Bernard’s move to Al-Nasr has collapsed.
Everton were negotiating the sale of the Brazilian winger but it has fallen through.
The Blues have been trying to offload Bernard since the start of the previous transfer window and looked as though they had found a buyer.
It is understood Everton would have pocketed a transfer fee as part of the deal to transfer the player who joined in the summer of 2018.
Bernard joined on a free transfer and is reported to be on at least £100,000 a week.
It has been reported that Bernard, who missed the weekend’s game with Newcastle United, trained with the rest of the Everton squad today.
Everton have been weighing up a move for Josh King but the deal for Bernard had been seen as an important piece of business.
