Bernard has revealed he may get an Everton-related tattoo to add to already impressing array of inkwork.
The Brazilian has become a popular figure at Goodison Park since his arrival in the summer of 2018 following his exit from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 27-year-old has scored five goals and registered six assists in 56 appearances for Everton.
It is no secret that Bernard is a fan of getting tattoos, confessing that he does not know exactly how many he has.
“I can’t tell you how many I have now,” Bernard told the club’s website.
“I have Spongebob Squarepants on my leg. It was my favourite cartoon and I still watch it now and again.
“I come from a religious family so a lot on my arm are related to the bible and angels. I have the numbers of the shirts I have worn as a professional footballer as well.”
Bernard went on to say that he is thankful for his special connection with the Everton faithful, and was asked whether he could see himself get a new tattoo in tribute to his club.
“Possibly! Never say never,” said Bernard.
“Everton is a really special moment in my life and I’m really happy for the affection from the fans.
“We want to eternalise these special moments on our skin.”
