Bernard Matthews Turkey Dinosaurs removed from sale after warning they could contain pieces of metal

Bernard Matthews is recalling batches of its Turkey Dinosaurs because they may contain small pieces of metal.

This makes the product unsafe to eat, therefore consumers are being advised to not eat the product.

The frozen turkey manufacturer has alerted the Food Standards Agency about the recall, who are urging shoppers to return to product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

No proof of receipt is needed.

The kids frozen food product is sold in Iceland, Asda, Sainsbury's and Tesco.

The recalled includes the brand's pack of 9 (FSA)

Recalled bags include the 9-pack weighing 450g, with a best before date of November 30, 2020.

It includes batch codes: L19QGG3, L19QGG4, L19QHG3, L19QHG4.

Bernard Matthews has apologised for the inconvenience caused to shoppers and added that no other products had been affected.

Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product.
