An estate agency has acquired a rival to expand its operations across Leicestershire.
Berkley Estate & Letting Agents, which has offices in Hinckley Road, Leicester and in Kibworth, in south Leicestershire, has bought Strawberry Lettings and Sales, based in Barrow Upon Soar, .
Berkley offers buying and selling services as well as landlord support and help with land sales and building developments.
Strawberry, based in High Street, Barrow, has years of experience in sales and rentals.
Berkley director Scott Burrows said: “We manage, advise on and sell land and properties throughout the county. “The acquisition of Strawberry Lettings and Sales increases our reach into the which the property market has been thriving in recent years.
“We’d been looking to open a branch in the area for a while so when the business became available it was an easy decision to make as we expanded both the team and our portfolio with this deal.”
Berkley was advised by Rik Pancholi, a director of Pattersons Commercial Law, in Ratby.
