Bergwijn in, Bale sub and Kane call - The Tottenham team Mourinho should pick vs Dinamo Zagreb

Tottenham are in a very good position to seal a place in the final eight of the Europa League after their 2-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb last week.

Taking the lead through Harry Kane's simple strike midway through the first half, Spurs' main man then doubled the scoreline after the break with a good finish after capitalising on a defensive error.

Jose Mourinho's men unfortunately couldn't find another goal to put the tie to bed, thus meaning it is still very much game on out in Croatia.

Taking the game to Spurs in the first half at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the head coach knows what to expect from their opponents and he will be putting out a strong XI to ensure they are in Friday's draw for the next round.

So who would our Tottenham reporters select in their sides for the game against Dinamo Zagreb? Take a look below.

Alasdair Gold - Tottenham Hotspur correspondent

Mourinho needs to balance getting the latest winning feeling back into his team with the need to give some players a chance to show what they can do.

We await to hear if Giovani Lo Celso is ready yet for a substitute appearance while Son Heung-min is unlikely to be risked even if his injury is not as bad as first feared.

Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn, Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko will likely start for Mourinho.

With Erik Lamela unable to play against Aston Villa at the weekend due to his suspension he could also get a start.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is suspended from the second leg.

With Spurs 2-0 up, it seems as good a time as any to give Carlos Vinicius an opportunity with Harry Kane on the bench if needed.

Gold's team: Hart; Aurier, Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Sissoko, Winks; Lamela, Alli, Bergwijn; Vinicius.

Jose Mourinho still needs to put out a strong Tottenham team to ensure they get the job done in Zagreb.

While it would be nice to give those on the periphery of the XI a chance, the boss may be a bit cautious as he won't want to put a place in the quarter-finals at risk despite their 2-0 advantage.

Serge Aurier and Ben Davies should both come in in the full-back areas, with Eric Dier also getting the nod at centre-back to give Davinson Sanchez a rest.

Moussa Sissoko deserves to start again in Europe after a good showing last week and he is joined in the middle by Harry Winks, while Dele Alli should continue in the No.10 role.

As we've not seen a lot of Steven Bergwijn recently after falling down the pecking order, it's the perfect chance for the Dutchman to come back in due to Son Heung-min's absence through injury.

Erik Lamela starts on the opposite flank as he isn't available for Sunday's game at Aston Villa, with Harry Kane the man to lead the line to begin with before Mourinho makes a host of changes.

Guest's team: Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Davies; Sissoko, Winks; Lamela, Alli, Bergwijn; Kane
