Beram Kayal dreams of Celtic transfer return as he reveals Scottish Premiership teams want to sign him

Honest Beram Kayal admits a return to Celtic remains his dream and would "be there tomorrow" if the Premiership champions made a move.

The 32-year-old is on the hunt for his next club after five years with Brighton that also included a loan spell with Charlton Athletic.

Kayal was a smash-hit during his time with Celtic under Neil Lennon before a series of injury setbacks pushed him down the Parkhead pecking order.

And the Israel international has revealed there has been significant interest from other Scottish Premiership clubs as the race to secure his signature heats up.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: "I'm waiting for some offers.

"We've had a few offers, some from abroad, but I need to look out for my family and it's not the right stage to do it.

"A few things have come in from Scotland but we didn't go far with that. I respect the people, so I don't want to say which clubs.

"I need everything to be right. If it's Celtic who come in, then I will be there tomorrow."

But Kayal admits he's looking at the bigger picture and is fully aware is value may only increase in the aftermath of tomorrow's frantic search to bring in new players.

He added: "We're in the last few days of the transfer window but I'm a free agent, so the market will be open for me past the deadline.

"I'm ready for the next challenge. I'm still hungry, I'm only in my early 30s and I want to see what's next."
