A number of airsoft guns have been recovered by police following a security alert in a Co Tyrone village which hosted a show of solidarity with DCI John Caldwell last weekend.
The security alert had closed the Dervaghroy Road area in Beragh on Saturday and it remained closed for two days while police examined a 'suspicious object'.
The road has now reopened on Monday after police confirmed that the objects found were a number of airsoft guns.

"A security alert in the Dervaghroy Road area of Beragh has ended," a PSNI spokesperson said on Monday.
"Officers and Ammunition Technical Officers attended the scene and local road closures, along with cordons, were in place for a time. A number of airsoft guns were recovered. All roads have since re-opened.
"We would like to thank the local community for their patience while this public safety operation was carried out."
On Saturday, Beragh Swifts, the football club at which Mr Caldwell is a volunteer coach, led a solidarity walk through the village of Beragh on the outskirts of Omagh.
The senior PSNI officer was shot a number of times by masked gunmen at Youthsport in Omagh last Wednesday, in an attack which has now been claimed by a group calling itself 'the IRA'.
Six remain have been arrested as part of the attempted murder investigation and all remain in Musgrave Serious Crime Suite.
