Beoga Belfast headline show announced for 2021

Irish folk band Beoga have announced a headline Belfast show for 2021.

The popular band who collaborated with Ed Sheeran  on hit hit Galway Girl will play the Limelight 1 on Saturday, April 17 2021.

Following on from the release of their highly coveted singles ‘Make A Mark’ (featuring Ryan McMullan), ‘In A Rocket’ (with Lissie) and ‘Matthew’s Daughter’ (featuring Devin Dawson) throughout the year so far, Irish outfit Beoga are celebrating the release of their new mini-album ‘Carousel’ which was released on May 22.

Speaking to Belfast Live last week, band member Eamon Murray spoke of what it feels like to be releasing an album three years in the making, in the midst of a pandemic.

"It always feel strange releasing an album, no matter whatever else is going on" he said.

"You put so much effort into something for a long period of time, then you get to this point and it's like - someone hits a button and it goes out to the world. We've been trying to finish stuff for a number of years now, so it's a relief to get it out into the world."

Beoga will follow the release of ‘Carousel’ with a UK headline tour later this year.
