SANTA CLAUS has worked with Bentley’s bespoke Mulliner division to upgrade his flying sleigh to something a little more luxurious and special.
He’s taken delivery of a customised, festive Flying Spur V8 called the Reindeer Eight from the luxury British car maker – just in time for Christmas.
Santa said: “What fun it is to ride in a 542-horsepower sleigh. Plus, there’s space in the back for all my subordinate Clauses. I’m looking forward to putting 41million miles on the clock before the end of the year.”
The one-off Reindeer Eight comes with a unique deep red Cricket Bauble paint finish and a gold three-dimensional printed reindeer can be found in lieu of the Flying B mascot.
To the sides, the V8 badges have been replaced by a special Reindeer Eight badge in a nod to the powertrain Santa is more familiar with.
To emphasise the speed and performance required to cover the significant distance the owner plans to travel, there’s plenty of gold styling, including 22in golden wheels with All-Season tyres for icy terrain.
The extravagant cabin has a monotone Cricket Bauble leather interior with gold personalised embroidery. A Grand Black veneer displays a North Pole winter night scene as part of Bentley’s innovative rotating display.
The second side has a 12.3in touchscreen, with a Naughty and Nice list integrated in to the navigation system.
Finally, the third side reveals three elegant analogue dials showing outside temperature, a compass (vital for Santa to find home at the end of the long work night) and a chronometer.
