Bentaleb and Lazaro - how should Newcastle United line-up with the new signings?

Nabil Bentaleb and Valentino Lazaro have both signed on loan for Newcastle United- and the Magpies are looking to complete more deals before the close of the window.

Former Tottenham midfielder and Algerian international Bentaleb arrived on Tyneside from Bundesliga outfit Schalke on Tuesday, and is expected to make his debut in black and white against Oxford United on Saturday.

Lazaro's long-anticipated temporary switch from Inter Milan was confirmed on Friday, and the 23-year-old will be in contention to make his first United appearance against Norwich on February 1.

Head coach Steve Bruce was understood to be hopeful of having two new faces - including Lazaro - in the squad to face the Canaries, and has confirmed the Magpies' interest in Tottenham's Danny Rose.

The England international is out of favour under Jose Mourinho, and United are looking for cover at left back following season-ending injuries to Paul Dummett and Jetro Willems.

Further signings could be made ahead of the visit of the Premier League's basement side. But as it stands, Bentaleb and Lazaro will be the new faces in the squad for the next top-flight fixture.

How could the Magpies' line-up with the new signings? Could Bruce be tempted to change the formation to accommodate the new players?
