Benson Boone's 'Beautiful Things' Skyrockets To Top Of Charts

Kanye West makes a point as he holds his first rally in support of his presidential bid in North Charleston

When Benson Boone released his sledgehammer ballad 'Beautiful Things' in January, he didn't anticipate the overwhelming success it would achieve. The 21-year-old artist was pleasantly surprised when the song started gaining traction on its own, unlike his previous releases that required extensive promotion efforts.

'Beautiful Things' quickly climbed the charts, debuting at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and eventually reaching the third position. The song's impact was felt globally, with Boone's Spotify streams increasing by 200 percent in the week following its release and daily streams surging by 370 percent through February.

Boone's rise to stardom was further solidified by the song's inclusion on numerous international playlists and its domination of the Top 50 Global chart on Spotify, surpassing tracks by renowned artists like Kanye West and Tate McRae.

Despite his newfound success, Boone remains dedicated to engaging with his fans on platforms like TikTok, where 'Beautiful Things' has been featured in nearly a million videos. The song's popularity has propelled Boone into the spotlight, prompting him to reflect on the transformative impact it has had on his life and career.

Reflecting on the creation of 'Beautiful Things,' Boone revealed that the song was born out of a late-night session at his grandmother's piano in Los Angeles. The emotional depth and raw vulnerability of the track resonated with audiences, showcasing a new facet of Boone's artistry that struck a chord with listeners.

Boone's journey to musical success began unexpectedly, as he only discovered his vocal talent during a high school battle of the bands. Encouraged by the positive reception, he delved deeper into music, eventually catching the attention of 'American Idol' and Imagine Dragons' Dan Reynolds.

Now signed to Reynolds' Night Street Records in partnership with Warner Music, Boone is gearing up for his Fireworks and Rollerblades tour and preparing to release his debut album. With 'Beautiful Things' continuing to make waves on the charts, Boone is focused on delivering an unforgettable live experience for his fans and further establishing himself as a rising star in the music industry.
