In-demand Dundee United goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist is reportedly in line to be offered a pre-contract by Premiership champions Rangers.
The 29-year-old Swiss stopper is wanted man due to his exploits at Tannadice since he arrived in the summer of 2018.
It's understood Siegrist being chased by a host a club across the continent, with Southampton believed to be among his admirers.
But the Daily Mail report Rangers are hoping to win the race for a player who came through the ranks at Aston Villa.
Ibrox boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has big decisions to make on who will play between the sticks next season with both Allan McGregor and Jon McLaughlin out of contract.
It remains to be seen if the 40-year-old McGregor will pen fresh terms with Rangers and his back-up would be sought after if he became a free agent.

Van Bronckhorst has added James Sands this month, with John Souttar and Danilho Doekhi also understood to be on the Ibrox radar.
And that's why Siegrist is on the radar of Ross Wilson and Rangers with a place in the group stage of the Champions League on the line for the winners of this season's Premiership.
