Beni Baningime has joined Derby County on loan for the rest of the season.
Wayne Rooney has tonight raided the Blues for the 22-year-old midfielder as he bolsters the Rams' squad in his first transfer window as manager.
Baningime was not named in Everton's 25-man squad for this season and so has been restricted to playing for the under-23s.
The Academy product saw a loan move to League One Blackpool fall through in the previous transfer window but will spend the second-half of this season in the Championship with Rooney's Derby.
Rooney and Baningime played together on a handful of occasions during the 2017-18 season following the striker's return to Goodison.
Everton's u-23s are playing Derby County tonight.
