There was great variety in the conclusions drawn from Congress's Benghazi hearing last night.
Some derided Hillary Clinton's contradictions and for the umpteenth time that personal email account, while others saw it simply as an attempt to sabotage her bid to run for President.
As Elijah Cummings, the senior Democrat on the Committee, said in his opening statement that Republicans “are wasting millions of taxpayers’ dollars in an attempt to derail Mrs Clinton’s presidential campaign.”
The hearing lasted nearly 11 hours and was the ninth effort to determine what happened the night U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith died in the Libyan city's diplomatic compound.
Ms Clinton seemed to be a bit more relaxed in this hearing, expressing her frustration at different lines of questioning and even laughing at some of the claims made against her.
