BENGALURU: An unidentified woman's decomposed and burnt body was found on the outskirts of Rayasandra village, near Kengeri, on Sunday afternoon.
Police said the miscreants had burnt the body inside an abandoned, decrepit building and later dumped it under the bushes in an isolated place nearby. Police found at least two used condoms in the building.
A passerby saw the body on Sunday afternoon and alerted the cops. DCP (west division in-charge) SD Sharanappa said efforts are on to identify the deceased. "We are not sure if she was sexually assaulted or not," he added. Police registered a case of murder and destruction of evidence against unidentified persons. tnn
