BENGALURU: Vultures Cricket Club rode on a fine all-round performance from Pravin Dubey (119 & 2/35), Kruthik Krishna’s century (108) and spinner J Suchith’s match haul of six wickets to gain the first innings advantage over Cambridge Cricket Club in their KSCA Group I (Division I) league contest here recently.
Batting first, Vultures were bowled out for 409 in 86.3 overs in their first essay. Krishna and Dubey’s centuries were complemented by Smaran’s 79.
In reply, Cambridge were bowled out for 220 in 57.3 overs with pacer MB Darshan returning 3/30 while Suchith and Dubey shared five wickets between them. In their second innings, Cambridge were reduced to 41/5 in 18.3 overs with Suchith claiming 3/17.
