A Bengaluru vegetable seller has unexpectedly become the centre of an online debate after a viral Instagram video showed him wearing a head-mounted device with an iPhone strapped to his forehead while working at a local market.
The clip, shared by Instagram user Vaibhav, quickly grabbed attention after he claimed that the vendor was collecting “real-world data” for artificial intelligence training while going about his daily work. The unusual sight reportedly left passers-by shocked, with many curious about what exactly was happening.
Vaibhav wrote in the caption that he had to stop his scooter after spotting the vendor wearing what looked like a custom-built recording setup attached to his head. According to him, the vegetable seller explained that he was helping gather data for AI systems.
