Bengaluru: Pay more toll on E-City flyover, Attibele highway

BENGALURU: After a gap of two years, toll charges for using Electronics City flyover and Attibele highway will be increased from July 1. Two-wheeler riders using E-City flyover will have to pay Rs 25 (single journey), Rs 35 (multiple journeys in a day) and Rs 720 (monthly pass). Earlier, it was Rs 20, Rs 30 and Rs 625.

Car/jeep/van drivers have to pay Rs 60 (single journey), Rs 90 (multiple journeys) and Rs 1,795 (monthly pass), from Rs 50, Rs 80 and Rs 1,570, respectively. Toll charges for light commercial vehicles, truck/bus and earthmovers on both toll plazas are also up.

On Attibele highway, no charges are being imposed on two-wheelers. Car/jeep/van drivers will have to pay Rs 35 (single journey), Rs 55 (multiple journeys in a day) and Rs 1,080 (monthly pass). Earlier, it was Rs 30, Rs 45 and Rs 870, respectively. These toll plazas are part of Bengaluru-Hosur section of NH 44. A Bangalore Elevated Tollway Pvt Ltd official said the hike will be applicable till June 30, 2023. tnn
