BENGALURU: Two miscreants robbed two students returning to Bengaluru from Nandi Hills at Thindlu Circle, near Yelahanka, on Saturday evening.
Atul and Divya, students from a city engineering college, told police the incident took place around 3pm. Atul, Divya and their six collegemates left for Nandi Hills on four two-wheelers in the morning and headed back to the city after learning that the road leading to the hills had been closed due to a landslide.
Six of the students crossed Thindlu Circle on IVC Road, while Atul and Divya’s two-wheeler was behind. Two miscreants on a scooter stopped Atul’s vehicle. They threatened the duo at knifepoint and snatched Divya’s mobile phone, wallet and cash and fled the spot.
Vishwanathapura police registered a case of robbery and detained a few suspects. Further probe is on.
