Bengals, Zac Taylor send message to season ticket holders

The Cincinnati Bengals and new head coach Zac Taylor are saying and doing the right things to kick off the new era.

Days after the announcement and introductory press conference, a letter from Taylor and the team sent to season ticket holders started making the rounds:

This isn’t anything out of the ordinary for a team hitting the reset button at head coach — but in Cincinnati, it is refreshing simply because it hasn’t happened in 16 years.

The letter does mesh well with the team’s desire to patch its relationship with fans. Team owner Mike Brown admitted during the press conference the divide between fans and the team was a big part of the reason a change was made and that Taylor fit the mold of what fans want to see.

While it’s only February, it seems the team is making mostly proper steps to win back fans.
