Bengals’ Zac Taylor attended Ohio State’s pro day

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has been a busy man between the start of free agency and the peppering of pro days around the country.

Wednesday, Taylor was in Columbus for Ohio State’s pro day, according to NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala, which featured major prospects like Nick Bosa and Dwayne Haskins.

Haskins is the most interesting name here, of course. He doesn’t figure to fall to the Bengals — but a recent mock draft did feature Taylor and the front office trading up to get the Ohio State star.

Taylor and the Bengals have slammed the table for Andy Dalton all offseason. But speculation is bound to pop up around the new head coach. And for what it’s worth, Taylor also personally attended Oklahoma’s pro day, where Kyler Murray put on a show, too.

Maybe it’s all due diligence. Maybe it’s a smokescreen effort. But the rapid changes throughout the Bengals organization lately have at least made a normally mundane process exciting.
