Report: Bengals WR A.J. Green expected to miss game vs. Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals will catch a break in Week 5. They travel to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, but they will not face the Bengals’ best player.

Wide receiver A.J. Green, who suffered an ankle injury before the season began, will not be ready to make his season debut against the Cardinals, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Even without Green, the Bengals are producing a lot of passing yards. Quarterback Andy Dalton has thrown for 979 yards through three games.

Tyler Boyd has 24 receptions for 250 yards. John Ross has 13 catches for 292 yards and three touchdowns.

The Cardinals are 22nd in pass defense, giving up 271 yards per game. They have allowed 10 touchdown passes, the second-highest total in the league, and have not had an interception.
