Bengals will wear black jerseys in Super Bowl, which means Rams are likely to wear Bone

Uniform choices are a big deal in the NFL. They’re even more critical in the Super Bowl.

As the designated home team for the AFC, the Cincinnati Bengals get first choice of what jerseys and pants they’ll wear in the big game on Feb. 13. During a photoshoot on Wednesday, they appear to have made their decision.

They’re going with black jerseys and white pants, a classic look for the franchise. The Rams haven’t officially announced what they will wear, but this seemingly rules out the possibility of them wearing their royal jerseys and yellow pants, which they rocked in their first three playoff games.

Unless the NFL makes a special exception allowing the Rams to wear their modern throwbacks, they’ll be forced to go with Bone jerseys. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but they probably would’ve liked to keep their streak alive by wearing blue and yellow again.

The question now is what color pants the Rams will pair with their Bone jerseys.

They could go with all-Bone, which they were 3-0 in this season.

Yellow pants are also a possibility. They wore them against the Texans and Vikings.

Then there are the royal pants. They wore those against the Packers in Week 12 and in Seattle during the fifth week of the season. The Rams wore them against the Colts in Week 2, as well.

The Rams are likely to reveal their choice very soon, as early as Wednesday. And when they do, it’s almost certain they’ll be wearing Bone jerseys next Sunday.

It’s just a matter of which pants they want to pair with the off-white tops.
