Anyone who laughed off Ty Johnson’s steadfast confidence in White came away with egg on their face Sunday. The long-time reserve quarterback led the lowly Jets to a shocking win over a thriving Bengals team. White did a little bit of everything in the 34-31 victory, the first start of his career and the Jets’ second win of the season.
By the end, the MetLife Stadium crowd was relentlessly chanting White’s name.
