The Cincinnati Bengals fought as much adversity as they’ve seen all season during Sunday’s 41-22 loss with the Los Angeles Chargers visiting Paul Brown Stadium.
Several notable Bengals — topped by Joe Burrow — suffered injuries. The team fell into a 0-24 hole. And game management and flags were suddenly a problem.
Yet the young Bengals, if nothing else, showed a lot of fight while storming back to make it competitive. But key, crucial mistakes from the offense’s biggest names repeatedly ruined the team’s chances at picking up a win.
