Bengals trade out of pick No. 42 with the Denver Broncos

The Cincinnati Bengals decided to punt on their original second-round pick, shipping it to the Denver Broncos.

According to Bengals.com’s Marisa Contipelli, the Bengals acquire picks Nos. 52, 125 and 182. That means the Bengals now boast 13 picks in this year’s draft.

Clearly, the Bengals were content with how the board was falling. Four corners came off the board before the Bengals’ scheduled pick, as did four offensive linemen.

Notably, the Broncos got Kansas State’s Dalton Risner at No. 41 right in front of the Bengals.

The Bengals move back 10 spots but comfortably grab selections in the fourth and sixth rounds, which funnily enough, means they now have six picks in the sixth round.
