Bengals’ tentative undrafted free agent class ranked middle of the pack

The Cincinnati Bengals haven’t officially announced their 2019 undrafted free agent class yet.

But thanks to the social media era, players, representatives and reports have helped identify the major players headed to all 32 teams in the wake of the draft.

Over at Rotoworld, Thor Nystrom has used his weighted formula of pre-draft rankings to power rank the hauls of all 32 teams in UDFA, which slots the Bengals 19th:

A week removed from the draft, and I still can’t figure out how Stanley Morgan went undrafted. If you want my leading candidate for this year’s UDFA skill guy that ends up starting more than 30 games in the NFL, he’s the guy. Should be a really good NFL backup, if nothing else.

Nystrom slots the Bengals with Stanley Morgan Jr., guards Keaton Sutherland and O’Shea Dugas, running back Jordan Ellis and quarterback Jacob Dolegala.

Morgan, the wideout from Nebraska, is the most interesting name there and has a full-blown profile Bengals fans will want to check out. Dolegala is also a really interesting name.

Our UDFA Bengals tracker has a few different names as well, so the dust will have to settle overall once the team makes its class official this week.

But with so many new coaches arriving in Cincinnati from the college ranks, it shouldn’t be a surprise the Bengals have put together a quality undrafted class this year.
