Bengals’ TE Tyler Eifert shows off ankle progress with short workout clip

Cincinnati Bengals starting tight end Tyler Eifert is battling back from another season-ending injury, and he’s finally looking pretty healthy.

Here’s the clip Eifert shared on Twitter yesterday.

It’s incredible to see Eifert so mobile after his season-ending ankle injury. If you want to re-disgust yourself with his injury, you can watch it here.

Eifert’s ankle injury comes after what feels like multiple years with injuries ending his season early, playing in just six games over the last two seasons.

Let’s hope 2019 is the season of health for the veteran!

Eifert’s recovery is important, but what will be more important is keeping him on the field. Eifert has played 10+ games in just two of his six professional seasons.

Unless they feel Eifert will be the answer, the Bengals might still target a tight end in the first several rounds. They need a reliable answer, and Eifert hasn’t been that for him.

Moving forward, we hope he is that option though. He just must stay healthy. With his surgically-repaired ankle looking better than ever, maybe things are starting to trend upward.
