Bengals strike another local sponsorship deal after renaming stadium

The Cincinnati Bengals continue to position themselves as a local-first entity while adding another cash stream that will help the team continue to win.

Buy Bengals Tickets

Cincinnati announced a partnership with Canvus Cocktail, now the official canned cocktail of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Like Paycor, which purchased the naming rights to Paul Brown Stadium, the company has local roots. The news comes on the heels of Altafiber buying rights to the northwest gate of the stadium. As we stressed recently, deals like this are cash directly into the team’s pocket, unlike ticket sales, which are split with the league.

Interestingly, nailing down a cocktail partnership might be a shrewd move given some of the upcoming upgrade plans for Paycor Stadium, with nightclubs being among those.

And those upgrades have an estimated cost of around $500 million, so these sorts of deals go toward that and the cash flow needed for big football contracts.
